Trattoria Toscana, is the latest creation of Raimondo Abreu and his son, Fausto Enrique Abreu. Raimondo, recognized chef who previously founded Il Ponte Vecchio, Zinno, and Cent' Anni in Greenwich Village, which received national acclaim. Viva Firenze!
Back when Batali was still an orange-clogged upstart, there was restaurateur Raimondo Abreu, whom Villagers relied on for old-school comfort at Il Ponte Vecchio, Zinno, and Cent'Anni for the last 40 yrs. Starting in 2012, judging from all the handshakes and hugs customers give upon entry, now, his son Fausto Enrique Abreu has joined together with his father, Raimondo Abreu, at Trattoria Toscana which has been triumphant and will continue to create authentic Tuscan dishes along with great selections of Italian wines.
